Egypt: inauguration of the first project to light public buildings with solar energy

A project of a photovoltaic solar power plant of 80KW capacity was inaugurated in Cairo today to supply electricity to several government buildings of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy. It is the first step towards the widespread use of solar energy in schools and hospitals and an example for companies in the private sector.
