The Dubai government plans to spend US$100 million on solar plants to provide 50GW to increase the Emirates electric potential more than 50% in 2020 and a total potential of 10,000 MW. It is expected that the Expo 2020, which starts on 20 October and will last for six months will receive 25 million visitors. It is the first city in the Middle East to hold a universal exhibition in the 162-year history of this event.
