Algeria wants to start construction before 2014, within the National Program for the Development of Renewable Energy, and receive another 60 plants by 2020. The goal is to install 22MW by 2030, of which 10 MW will be exported to European markets. Before the end of the year, the construction of a solar plant of 10MW will begin. In parallel with the solar plans, the country aims to develop the wind potential and a program of rationalization of energy consumption.
