The Minister of Electricity and Energy has announced that his ministry is preparing the implementation of four new wind parks which will provide 405MW and will be located in Zaafrana on the Red Sea. These four projects are the wind farms Zaafrana 5 (85MW) which will be implemented with Spain’s cooperation, Zaafrana 6 (80MW), with the help of Germany, Zaafrana 7 (120MW), with the help of Japan and Zaafrana 8 (120MW), with Danish assistance.
